ZAMBIA’S INFLATION HITS 15.7 PERCENT

Zambia’s year on year inflation has reached 15.7 per cent.

According to information obtained from the Zambia Statistics Agency (ZSA), the April 2020 inflation is influenced by increases in prices of goods and services for food and non-food items.

The year- on- year (Annual) inflation rate as measured by the all items Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2020 was 14.0 percent.
