TAME YOUR TONGUE, UPND TELLS KEBBY MBEWE

By Scoop Reporter

It is so unfortunate for Patriotic Front Member of the Central Committee Kebby Mbewe to state that those accusing Lungu of corruption are foolish, the United Party for National Development (UPND) has said.

Southern Province UPND deputy Information and Publicity Secretary Neto Halwabala has urged Mr. Mbewe and others in PF to stop insulting the intelligence of Zambians.

“Corruption in PF is alarming guided by Edgar Lungu of ‘Ubomba mwibala alya mwibalya’ and this is visible for all to see.

“Zambians in 2021 shall never vote for a bunch of political comedians without a direction but busy promoting tribalism, nepotism, corruption, and political violence,” Mr. Halwabala said.

He says the PF is also well known for failing to formulate policies which are  life giving to our economy adding that the UPND is determined to turn around not only the economy, but unite the country.

“The past nine years of PF in Government, the country has experienced  a political campaign launched to divide Zambia through hate speech, attacking journalists and media houses as is the case with President Hakainde Hichilema, UPND officials and other opposition.

“This country is destroyed and for UPND government the first task immediately after taking over power in a democratic manner is to restore law and order which has been destroyed by PF,” he said.

He accused the PF of having distorted the Constitution which he says has been reduced to nothing but just a useless document but has urged Zambians not to lose hope.

“UPND is coming to stamp out corruption, nepotism, tribalism and political thuggery which has been introduced by PF.

“Mr. Hichilema and his team will introduce true democracy where press freedom shall be respected. Under UPND Government, Journalists will be our partners in national development unlike now PF viewing them as political competitors,” he said.
