PROLIFIC Zambia national team star striker Patson Daka has continued with his impressive form for his club, Redbull Salzburg, after finding the back of the net in its 5-1 galore over Sturm Graz last evening.
Salzburg made their intentions known as early as the eighth minute when Dominik Szoboszlai scored from a free kick before a the teenager doubled the lead two minutes later after benefiting from a pinpoint pass from Zlatko Junuzovic.
However, Sturm Graz reduced the deficit from a free kick but while they were still in a celebratory mood, Daka pounced with an exquisite strike to give his team a 3-1 lifeline inside the first half.
Daka benefited from an initial attempt by Karim Adeyemi which rattled the woodwork to stub home the rebound with precision to take his tally to four goals within seven days after running riot in the previous match where he scored a hat trick
Szoboszlai completed his hat trick five minutes after Daka’s goal, scoring a beauty from outside the 18-yard area but it was Hee-Chan Hwang who completed the rout to end the match 5-1.
