REGISTER AS VOTERS, SIMPEMBA TELLS YOUTHS

By Scoop Reporter

ZAMBIA Conservative Party (ZCP) president Peter Simpemba has called on Zambian youths to take part in the voters registration exercise if they really want change.

Speaking to the Scoop this morning, Mr. Simpemba says political fields change with time because of the coming in of the new generation which comes with new interests.

“The interest of the current generation are jobs opportunities which the government cannot manage the current job market and those in school it is difficult to access bursaries and Government has instead challenged the youths not to wait for it to create jobs for them.

“However, while Government is asking the youths to try to be innovative and establish enterprises, the cost of doing business has remained high,” Mr. Simpemba said.

He has vowed to take over Government through a secret ballot, saying this will be in remembrance of his late father, Misheck Million Simpemba, one of Zambia’s little-known freedom fighters
