By Scoop Newspaper

SOME youths in Lusaka who are opposed to Bill 10 and alleged corruption and shrinking freedom of speech in Zambia will this morning protest against the incarceration of international award-winning photographer Chellah Tukuta.

Tukuta was arrested on Wednesday evening for criminal libel over derogatory remarks on Minister of Information Dora Siliya, Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Commissioner General, Kingsley Chanda, among others.

According to a programme sniffed by The Scoop this morning, the protestors will meet at the Main Post Office on Cairo Road at 09:00 before protesting against the arrest of Tukuta and demanding for his release.

Unverified reports suggest that renowned musician Fumba Chama, popularly known as Pilato, is among the organizers of the protest.

Meanwhile, governance activist Mukuka Mukuka has staged a lone protest in Mansa, demanding for an unconditional release of Tukuta.
