VETERAN Master Guide in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Onishias Maamba, yesterday bid farewell to bachelorhood when he married his fiancée, Beatrice Chipo Kambowe.
MG Maamba, who is also a journalist by profession and currently working for Capital FM Radio station in Lusaka as news editor, tied the knot at a colourful church service held at Woodlands Extension SDA Church in Lusaka.
Woodlands Conference Executive Secretary Pastor Johnnie Namwako presided over the wedding while the reception was held at Meya’s Banquet hall.
Pastor Namwako urged the couple to always live by the principles of the Bible for their marriage to succeed and advised the newly-weds to work together, emphasizing that honesty was not an option if their marriage is to succeed.
