UNFORGIVING SOCIAL MEDIA, JOURNALISTS IRK KANYAMA

By Scoop Reporter

FORMER Siavonga District Commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has appealed to journalists and social media news outlet administrators to give him a break after he was fired from his position, saying contrary to assertions that he is eyeing the Chirundu Parliamentary seat, he has no he has intentions.

In a stamen today, yesterday, Mr. Kanyama says a lot has been written about him since he was booted out of office but asked social media administrators to give him time to reflect, rest, and relax.

He complained that it is quite disturbing that every group or page is talking about him yet he needs some space as there are some important stories out there that concerns the country.

“The writings are affecting me and my family. It’s not just Lovemore Kanyama of Siavonga whose contract was not extended. There are a lot of District Commissioners whose contracts were not extended (but) why only focus on me? We have a new DC now who can handle your issues. Allow me to reflect and take some time off to rest.

“And on concerns coming  from Patriotic front Chirundu Constituency aspiring candidate Mr. Mwangala regarding the issuing National Registration Cards NRCs that my participation is highly required, as I said earlier, am still loyal to the Patriotic Front Government and the President of the Republic.

“I have not moved to Chirundu to contest for any political position. My message is that there is no need to panic on my presence in Chirundu Constituency. I have no such intentions,” Mr. Kanyama said.
