THE Zambian DNA has condemned United Party for National Development (UPND) cadres’ behavior of booing President Edgar Lungu in Monze recently.
Zambian DNA spokesperson Spuki Mulemwa has told The Scoop in a statement that the cadres’ barbaric and disrespectful behavior must be condemned by all peace loving Zambians.
Mr. Mulemwa says this is because President Lungu is Republican President who deserves respect from all Zambians regardless of political or religious affiliation.
“In the same vein, we condemn in the strongest terms the senior UPND leaders who have justified their cadres’ disrespectful behavior towards the Head of State.
“We call upon UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema to apologize to President Lungu and the Zambian people for his cadres’ conduct, failure to which we shall call upon Zambians in all parts of Zambia to shut out UPND to teach them a lesson that Zambia is bigger than Hichilema and Southern Province,” Mr. Mulemwa said.
