ZAMBIA’S Ambassador to Ethiopia and permanent representative to the African Union (AU) Emmanuel Mwamba says he has learnt of the death of Lukashya independent Member of Parliament, Mwenya Munkonge, with sadness.
Lukashya Constituency is in Kasama district of the Northern Province
Mr. Munkonge died this morning at the Levy Mwanawasa Hospital where he has been admitted since money after falling ill.
And Mr. Mwamba has wished the family of Mr. Munkonge strength as they mourn him.
“Sad to learn of the death of a dear brother, Hon. Mwenya Munkonge. Hon Munkonge was the Independent Member of Parliament for Lukashya Constituency, south of Kasama. May the Lord strengthen the family during this difficult time. May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace,” Mr. Mwamba said.
