COVID-19 KNOCKS OUT ZAMTEL

ZAMTEL has shut down its head office in Lusaka after one of its staff has tested positive to COVID-19.

In a statement this morning, head of corporate affairs and Government Relations, Reuben Kamanga, says the office will remain closed till further notice.

Mr. Kamanga has advised customers to visit service centres or use its online and self-help platforms.

“Zamtel wishes the customers and the general public that management has decided to close its Head Office at the corner of Chilubi and Church Roads in Lusaka with immediate effect until further notice. This is because one of our members of staff has tested positive for COVID-19.

In the meantime, we urge our customers to visit our service centres in order to access our products and services. Customers can also access our products and services using our online and self-help platforms. We urge our customers to adhere to all health guidelines as they visit the service centres,” Mr. Kamanga said.
