CIVIL Society Constitutional Agenda (CiSCA) chairperson Bishop John Mambo’s mother, Katty Mambo, has died aged 105 years.
Bishop Mambo made the announcement of his mother’s death through Governance, Elections, Advocacy, Research Services (GEARS) Initiative executive director, MacDonald Chipenzi.
Bishop Mambo says the remains of his mother will be repatriated to the village where she will be buried.
“This serves to inform friends and relatives that Bishop John H Mambo’s mother, Katty Mambo, has passed on today. She was 105 years old. Her body will be transported to the village where her remains will be buried next to her late husband.
“In view of the COVID-19 and in adhering to the set guidelines, the funeral will be restricted only to a few friends and relatives,” reads the announcement in part.
