SOME characters in Zambezi Magic’s famous local soap opera, Mpali, yesterday paid a visit on Munali’s 2021 parliamentary aspirant, Chrispin Chiinda.
The quintet, comprising of Joe Sakala Junior (Jairos), Shazzy Phiri (Hambe), Frank Nchimunya Sibbuku (Frank), Cosmas Ng’andwe (Logic) and Moses, discussed a number of issues pertaining to the arts and entertainment industry which Chiinda is passionate about.
Among the issues discussed were challenges the industry is facing and how the industry can overcome these challenges.
Chiinda, who has continued attracting various artists, assured the Jairos-led group of his continued support to the industry.
He encouraged the artists to unite, work and support one another if they are to grow adding that Mpali had added flavor to the film industry and further encouraged the actors to continue being creative.
Meanwhile, Chiinda appealed to the artists to use their influence in society in a positive manner. He said artists have a huge following and should be looked at as role models especially among the youth.
He said his premises where available for all Artists in the country. Some shots of the current season 3 of Mpali have been shot from Chris Mall Lodges which has become a home to many artists.
The crew visited Chiinda in their individual capacities as entertainers and as youths based in Munali constituency.
