CHINESE LOSES EMPLOYMENT PERMIT, ORDERED TO LEAVE

THE Department of Immigration has with immediate effect revoked an employment permit belonging to Minghai Jiang, 49 of AFECC International Company Limited for being a danger to peace and good order.  

Immigration Department acting Public Relations Officer Mubanda Chileshe has told The Scoop that the permit was revoked on June 29, 2020 after conclusion of investigations into the case.

Ms. Chileshe says Minghai Jiang’s employment permit was revoked for his misconduct of mistreating workers at AFECC International Company Limited during a protest as evidenced by the video.

“The Department would like to take this opportunity to warn foreign nationals that are in the habit of mistreating Zambian workers to desist from doing so because the law will take its course.

“The Department would like to further urge members of the public to continue reporting anyone suspected of contravening any provision of the Act. Mr. Minghai has been issued with a notice to leave the country,” Ms. Chileshe said. Watch the video below:
