FOREST EYES TOP SLOT

By Scoop Reporter

STUBBORN Forest Rangers (Fore Malembe) this afternoon will buccaneer to the top of the FAZ/MTN league should they beat power Dynamos at Arthur Davies stadium.

Victory for Forest will move them to 49 points, one ahead of current log leaders Napsa Stars and Nkana, with only one game separating them from landing the coveted trophy for the first time in the history of the Zambian league.

Power, buoyed by their impressive head-to-head record against Forest, will seek to maintain their pride but their win will account for little in terms of qualifying to continental football as they will still be languishing mid-table as they will only go to the 10th position.

The match will mark Forest’s first game since the restart as they failed to play Zanaco last weekend after their 28 players and officials tested positive to the Coronavirus.

Zanaco were consequently awarded three free points and 3-0 walkover win.
