MUCHELEKA’S CASE ADJOURNED TO NEXT MONTH

By Bennie Mundando

THE case in which United Party for National Development (UPND) deputy Secretary General Patrick Mucheleka and three others have been charged with aggravated robbery and malicious damage to property has been adjourned to October 13 and 14, 2020.

The Kasama Magistrate Court has adjourned the matter to these dates where the accused will appear for mention and possible instructions from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) because the Magistrate handling the matter is out of jurisdiction.

The quartet remains detained at Milima State correctional facility.
