AFTER a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Ethiopia last week, Zambia this afternoon comfortably beat the “Walia ibex” 3-1 with Emmanuel Chabula grabbing a brace while Collins Sikombe contributed the other goal.
Unlike in the previous game where the Chipolopolo twice came from behind to edge the hosts with goals from Zesco’s versatile attacking midfielder Kelvin Kampamba and a brace from Albert Kangwanda, Zambia this afternoon had a relatively easy match with a decent performance.
Zambia was 3-0 within the first half as Chabula found the back of the net with 14 minutes played before Sikombe doubled the lead 11 minutes later.
Chabula was not done yet as he completed his brace eight minutes before the end of the first half but Ethiopia pulled a face-saver at the nick of full time.
