MADISON LIFE DONATES TO CHRISTMAS BABIES

By Bennie Mundando

MADISON Life Insurance Company Zambia Ltd, (MLife) staff on Friday donated assorted Christmas gifts to the newly born babies at Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital.

The company handed over 50 baby blankets, 50 feeding Bottles, 50 packets of Diapers and 50 Toys to the newly born babies at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital.

Company Managing Director, Agnes Chakonta said the company every year appreciated and wished its clients and stakeholders a Merry Christmas as well as a prosperous New Year but that this year, it decided to extend the gesture by spreading cheer to the new mothers and their newly born babies at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital.

I know this is just a small contribution to your new journeys in form of a gift bag with diapers, blankets, toys and feeding bottles but my hope is that it shows our passion for supporting the women who are the backbones of this country and our passion to offer life assurance policies for children that speak to investing in their future.

Let me take this opportunity to say that parents’ love and affection for their newly born babies is immeasurable but this love can be expressed through savings for your children from the time they are born. At MLife, we recognise the importance of savings plans for Children hence we have the ultimate “baby present” which is the Madison Baby Present Policy”.

“This product can be purchased by a parent or as a gift to a baby from the time they are born, aged not more than 10 years to provide a specified lump sum of money upon the attainment of 18 years. This is the perfect way to provide a running start for your child,” Ms. Chakonta said.

In receiving and handing over of the gifts to the mothers, hospital acting Medical Superintendent Pethias Tembo, expressed gratitude and thanked Madison Life for thinking of the mothers and Babies at Levy Mwanawasa Hospital.

Dr. Tembo said that without the support of companies like MLife, the hospital would not be able to help put smiles on all their patients and their families’ faces at Christmas.
