Standard Chartered has today announced that it has opened its new generation branch situated at the its new Head Office building in Rhodespark.
The Bank’s new Head Office Building at which the new branch is located, boasts the EDGE (Excellence in design for greater efficiencies) certification – a green building rating system for new residential and commercial buildings in emerging markets created by IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, the only one of its kind in Zambia.
The flagship branch which is set to serve its individual and business clients in Lusaka also includes unique features such as a dedicated Priority Banking pavilion, a priority lounge and gallery, hospitality and knowledge counter and a library.
Standard Chartered has in recent weeks reduced its physical distribution network having seen more clients opt for digital channels as it now boasts an 81% digital adoption rate. At present, over 88% of the Bank’s transactions are going through digital platforms.
