OPEN PRIME TV NOW, SHAKAS TELLS GOVT

By Bennie Mundando

THE Patriotic Front (PF) Government must open Prime TV if truly it has done wonders for the people of Zambia, former Katuba Member of Parliament (MP) Jonas Shakafuswa has demanded.

Mr. Shakafuswa said the issue of free COVID adverts, which seemed to be the source of the contention leading to the closure of the television station, had long been forgotten and that the best to do was to open the media house so that people can freely express their opinions.

He said unless Government had skeletons in its closet, it must open the station if it truly believed in national values it was preaching about.

If PF Government is worth their salt and have done wonders for the people of Zambia, let them open Prime TV now. Gerald Shawa invested his own money; his own savings, in the broadcaster. Olo ni (even if it is) jealous ba Dora… the issue of free COVID adverts is long forgotten. Let us hear the people talk unless Government is scared of their skeletons and shadow, wrong doing and mis-governance.

We say we are a Christian nation preaching national values. Show us this once of your good deeds. we need Prime TV now more than any other time. So Dora behave. Teshi chishi chaba nyoko (this is not your mother’s country),” Mr. Shakafuswa said.
