Central Province Permanent Secretary Milner Mwanakampwe has warned local authority leaders against derailing progress by purposefully frustrating each other’s output.
Speaking when he officially opened a workshop for council principal officers and elected leaders in Mkushi yesterday, Mr. Mwanakampwe stated that cordial relationships among principal officers were key in the achievement of developmental aspirations of the councils, hence the need to respect one another’s positions.
The permanent secretary further advised principal officers to provide advice to needy elected officers without the use of provocative sentiments.
