THEY’RE NOT MY SIGNATURES, CRIES KABWE MAYOR

By Alvin Siandabile

Kabwe Mayor Patrick Chishala has played Pontius Pilate after being implicated in the mega land scandal where it is reported that he is the one who sold the land to the Chinese.

Mr. Chishala has pleaded his innocence in the matter saying the said signatures that authorised the dubious deal were not his and that it could be a case of forgery.

He has told Spice FM that at no time did he engage in the sale of any land, as such activities are a preserve of mandated officials at the local authority.

Mr. Chishala, who could not give further details, maintained that the signatures that are appearing on the said documents are not his but are just similar, which is an indication of a forgery.

Through investigation we can establish the truth if they forged the signature or it’s him. Nothing is hidden under the sun. I just wish it is not him, it’s too early for him to be implicated in such scandals.

If it’s forgery the one who bought the land should be prosecuted

The investigating the saga will determine whether his signature is his or not but looking at the past events he may not be innocent bcoz muchi Pani they where alot of scandals anyway we wait and see
