VICTORIA FALLS GETS K100,000 FROM ZAMBIA BREWERIES

ZAMBIA Breweries has donated K100, 000 to the National Heritage and Conservation Commission (NHCC) for conservation and protection of the Victoria Falls.

Zambia Breweries Director of Corporate Communications Ezekiel Sekele and Head of Marketing Sibanje Munkombwe presented the cheque NHCC yesterday.

Mr. Sekele said ZB wants to create a happy future through more ‘Cheers of Success’ by partnering with institutions such the NHCC.

He said his organization values the conservation of the falls whose local name Mosi-Oa-Tunya gives Mosi Lager beer its name hence, Zambia Breweries working closely with the NHCC since the beginning of the Mosi Day of Thunder in 2017.

And Mr. Munkombwe said in subsequent events, the company wants to revert to having the event around period of May, June, and July when the water levels at the falls are high so that many people can also visit the falls and experience the natural wonder.

    This is good news in that the money will be used to improve tourism site just as the victoria falls

    Let them continue with that cooperate social responsibility. Mosi beer is greatly marketed by using Victoria falls.
